Youth Pastor Fulfills Marriage Proposal

LOS ANGELES, Calif., December 17, 2007 - Leonardo Nerio, a youth pastor for Hispanic Ministries: Truth Tabernacle, proposed marriage to his high school sweetheart and co-youth pastor Wendy Vasquez, following the Natalie Grant Christmas Concert at Kingsfield Church in Irvine. With the assistance of Robbins Bros., World's Biggest Engagement Ring Store® and The Fish (KFSH) 95.9 FM radio station, on December 15 Nerio asked Vasquez to spend forever with him via a mobile billboard truck which appeared as 1,000 concertgoers including family and friends exited the venue.

Nerio was given the opportunity to propose marriage in such a traffic-stopping way when he was selected as the winner of the Robbins Bros. and The Fish Christmas Engagement Contest. The promotion, which began on November 19 and ended December 6, asked entrants to submit their heartwarming love story for a chance to win a mobile billboard proposal and a $3,000 gift certificate from Robbins Bros. towards the engagement ring. Nerio's submission was filled with sincerity and stood out among the rest.

"I've been with my beautiful lady for eight years since our senior year in high school. As I entered God's purpose for my life I prayed for her to be the one to share the rest of my life with," said Nerio in his contest submission. "I've been wanting to propose to her in such a spectacular way but haven't had the money to buy the engagement ring. She's a great help in my ministry and the best thing that has ever happened to me."

The newly-engaged couple are excited as ever about their future together and believes this newfound commitment is the best Christmas gift one could ever receive. "So many of our loved ones were asking about the proposal date for the longest time, but now that it's happened their minds are already focused on the wedding!," reveals Nerio.
