Engagement Rings > Proposal Ideas & Advice > Proposal Stories

Nick and Sara

We were the only ones on our own private balcony on the 6th floor of the Grand California Hotel at Disneyland. We had a personal waiter and we ate one of the best meals ever. I was a little worried as they announced, twice, that the fireworks may be canceled due to high winds, but everything turned out fine as the music started to play and the first firework burst in front of our eyes. The waiter brought out a covered silver platter and left it in front of the two of us. I waited a few seconds until the music changed to "When You Wish Upon a Star" then I uncovered the platter to reveal two chocolate tuxedo-covered strawberries, two blue glowing ice cubes (for lighting), and a glass slipper with her ring in it. She looked at the platter for a second then saw the ring and started to cry. I dropped down to one knee with the "Dreams Come True" song playing in the background and the fireworks exploding over our heads, and asked her to marry me. She cried and hugged me and said...YES! This was the perfect proposal for my perfect girl!

Thank you so much for setting all of this up for me. This brought tears to the eyes of her and all of her friends she told this fairy tale to. She always wanted to be like Cinderella and now she has her fairy tale proposal story to tell to all. Thank you so much again. I could not have done it without the help of Natasha and everyone at Robbins Brothers. I hope everyone can have the perfect proposal like we had. Thank you.
