Jay Gilbert has been intrigued with fine jewelry as long as he can remember. Apprenticing in 1973 he began a quest to learn from master jewelers from all over the globe. Their passion for excellence became the driving force that molded his desires to create jewelry that is both elegant and timeless. "Jewelry is ultra personal. I need to know that I have given my best, and a bit more to the person acquiring my jewelry. The people who wear my work can feel our artful delicate touch, precise attention to detail and impeccable effort. Nothing less is acceptable."
Jay founded Coast Diamond in 1978. His main focus is platinum bridal with an emphasis on its exquisite hand engraving. The inspiration for his current collection is derived from the platinum masters of the early part of the century. Coast has lent their unique touch to accommodate the needs of the discriminating women and men of this century. There are a wide variety of styles from the subtle to the sophisticated. Coast's collection also consisits of 18K styling.
