After selecting a ring, Eric stayed in contact with us by phone and email with was great customer service. About a month or so after our wedding we noticed that the ring we purchased did not keep its brilliance nor did it keep a smile on our face. My fiance, Steve, purchased a solitaire diamond engagement ring from Olivia last year with the expectation that I would return to the store to select a setting of my own choosing. Steve proposed to me at a big luau party at his house. The night was very special as all our friends and family were in attendance. The ring was in a lighted box and that made for such a special presentation. The ring was so sparkly, it looked fabulous! We came back to the store today, approximately 6 weeks before the wedding, to select my setting and Steve's wedding ring. Steve immediately sought out Olivia because she had offered him exceptional service on his previous visit. Olivia stayed true to form and was very helpful on our visit. I called the Montclair store and Amy answered. I thought I was going to get the usual, "Ok let them write down what you want and I will call you back" but that didn't happen in this story. Amy went the extra mile, she found out the details of the diamond I wanted. I made a 50 mile drive to meet Amy because of the outstanding service I received on the phone. I worked with Amy and Brianna and made the purchase immediately. It was Olivia. I called 2 days prior for some general questions. We made an appointment to meet, but told her on the phone I was very hesitant. She was extremely kind and thorough. I would normally expect someone to have a hidden agenda in wanting to sell and push on the price. But she was far from it. She went over every detail from A-Z. When we were picking out the rings, it was amazing. I felt like it was Christmas, since I could pick out any ring in the case and decide at the end. I came in with the intention to hold back and just do some shopping. But halfway through, I found the ring I wanted. I purchased the ring and am very happy I did. More than anything else, I didn't find a jeweler, a sales clerk, or a consultant in Olivia. I found a new member to my family. She is somebody I could go to for just about anything. Robbins brothers is the best. I bought my finances engagement ring at a different jeweler. And we had nothing but problems with it, Platinum would bend all the time, the center diamond was off center a very little bit, and although they fixed it, they didn't fix it without giving us a huge hassle. After much thought and much debate, we decided to look for a jeweler to redo our ring. It was a combination set with 3 rings. We came to the Montclair store and met with Angel, and he explained the whole process to us. He helped turn our 3 ring set into 1 ring, we used all of our diamonds, and only had to add a few, but it came out totally amazing. We are both thrilled with our ring, and strongly recommend Robbins brother to anyone buying an engagement ring. We found all the employees to be very friendly, and Angel was amazing, we call him the Ring Doctor, he fixed us up great.

Sometime ago I visited a store in Tustin called the Diamond Exchange accompanied by my mother in law and my father in law. We had seen their advertisement on TV offering great everyday low prices so being that I was in the market for an engagement ring, I stooped in and was shown several different rings and was happy that I had found the one that was appropriate for my loved one. I asked about pricing for this particular ring and was quoted a price on this ring and told them I would be back to purchase this ring and I asked the sales person if this price was guaranteed for me when I planned to come back for the ring. And when I did, to my surprise, they did not honor the price I was quoted by their sales person on my first visit. I asked to speak to a manager, supervisor, anyone with a pricing authority and once I did, I found the manager would not honor the quote I was given. Two months before our upcoming wedding my fiancee' and I decided it was time to get our wedding bands out of the way. Originally we looked online but all the bands were far too expensive and most didn't come in the size I wanted, me being a heavyset guy and all. For months we had seen the Robbins Bros. on our commutes to Disneyland for our jobs and we thought "I wonder if they sell wedding bands." So my fiancee decided to call one day, a very kind lady picked up who said her name is Olivia. She exclaimed to Tanya that they did indeed have wedding bands and presented her with the store hours, etc. We decide to drop in, not knowing what to expect since we've never seen a Robbins Bros. before. When we arrived we were amazed at how large and beautiful the store was. Noticing that it was one of those reprehensive serve stores (like Nordstroms) we got a little nervous because we felt like we wouldn't have that freedom to choose what we wanted. Boy were we wrong. As luck would have it, we got the same sweet lady from the phone, Olivia. She greeted us with a warm smile and welcome, asking us what we were looking for. Literally within 10 minutes Olivia helped us find the rings for the price we wanted AND the right size. We bought them right on the spot and absolutely love them. The highlight of the visit was indeed Olivia though. We rarely encounter an employee as kind and welcoming as her. So hooray for Olivia, hooray for Robbins Bros. and hooray for our wedding! Everyone should definitely shop here, very classy.

Hi Skip and Steve! I wanted to let you know about one of your employees at your store in San Diego . My husband and I wanted to get a ring guard for an estate ring I had received from my husband's grandmother. We are not very rich but I wanted something to protect this beautiful ring. When we walked in the store we were greeted and escorted to an associate. I'll be totally honest, we don?t look like we had money and some looked at us kind of like they didn't want to help us. I bought Hilary's engagement ring from the Houston Loop store. My consultant, Ray Golden, was very professional when we met and I could not have asked for a more pleasurable experience in narrowing down the specifics of the ring. After finding the right setting we moved onto picking out the diamond. Not once did Ray show me something that was beyond my budget or try to up sell me into something `better?. Ray helped me understand that every diamond is unique, and that no one characteristic is more important than the other. Looking at the loose diamonds and using the advice Ray gave me allowed me to find the perfect one. I left the day of my initial visit expecting to shop around. However, every time I thought about going somewhere else, I also thought about the exceptional level of service that Ray gave me; in addition to, the Robbins Bros. guarantee. After about a month, I came back and bought the ring, I never went anywhere else. I gave the ring as a surprise to Hilary on Easter, but unfortunately it did not fit. Hoping to resize it quickly, I sent the ring over night to Ray, thinking I might be able to get it back sometime in the 4 days before I was scheduled to leave Mississippi (where Hilary currently lives). Ray was able to get the ring resized and returned within one day! What a pleasant surprise! Instead of getting the ring back on Saturday, we got it back on the previous Wednesday. Now that?s service! I was able to surprise Hilary a second time! Ray really does represent the best in Robbins Brothers and their products and services. An excellent listener, Ray is able to couple that with his experience to provide his clients with the information they need to make the best possible decision with such an emotional and important purchase. I usually am not a fan of writing online "comments" but it seemed to be the only method to reach out to your company that I could find. My boyfriend and I recently went to shop for engagement rings at your Mission Viejo store. As this was the first time that we took the step to shop for a ring, it was an overwhelming experience and frankly, we were both nervous of how the experience was going to go. Our biggest fear was that the whole thing would be a "sales pitch" and we would be pressured into buying a ring when we may not be 100% sure we were ready. Then we met Jeff Regan. Instantly both of us felt that he was not the average sales man. He was frank, honest, and extremely helpful. We ended up spending over and hour with him and were very grateful for the time he took to walk us through every little question and concern we had. It is because of his personality and professionalism that we felt compelled to let management know what a fantastic employee they have in the Mission Viejo store. He educated us on every little detail, and never once seemed irritated to answer the same silly questions over and over again. When we walked in we thought we had the idea of what we wanted; thanks to his help, our idea drastically shifted into a whole different, and frankly, better direction. He helped us figure out "the ring" and although we were not ready to buy at that point, we know that if we come back and are ready to purchase a ring, we will only ask for Jeff. Stellar customer service and knowledge of the business made us not only feel impressed by his demeanor, but actually made us feel like this was a guy we would choose to work with in the future. I went shopping for an engagement ring at five stores, looking for the best deal. I experienced hungry salespeople, aggressive up sellers and NO education until I went to Robbins Bros. I do not remember the name of the sales professional who assisted me due to being a mental fog and in shock that I am actually going to get married. When I walked into your Torrance store I was quickly greeted by my sales person. This guy educated me to a point where if you ever feel like hiring another jewelry expert, I am your guy. He took his time with me, asked all of the right questions, NEVER tried to up sell (he read my personality a mile away) and was always very friendly. As a result, I purchased my ring at Robbins Bros that evening. It wasn?t that the jewelry was any better or worse at your competitors (I am guessing). What made the difference was the sales team. 2. He acknowledged our price range and kept us within our budget.
3. He never actively tried to "sell" anything. He simply provided expert customer service to two people who have limited knowledge of diamonds.
4. We never felt "hassled" to make a purchase.
We only spent a limited amount of time with Susan but it is obvious that many of Paul's' techniques have rubbed off on her as well. She was knowledgeable and very attentive to our needs and price range.

We have shopped multiple states, over 50 jewelry stores from the large chains to independent jewelers. During this process, we experienced sales persons that would not listen to what "we wanted" but rather attempted to push another product on us in order to meet a quota for the day. At the end of the day on January 3, 2008 we were exhausted from shopping for rings, as well as other things. The first associate, Victoria, at first thought that we meant why does she work there but I guided her to what I was looking for. Victoria gave a good answer but not one that stood out above any other jewelry stores answer. I later asked Chris Henderson, our second salesperson and he gave what my girlfriend and I consider THE BEST answer that I have ever heard. It was then and there that we decided that Robbins Brothers would be our jeweler for our most important purchase in our relationship. Both Victoria and Chris worked with us to help us find what we were looking for and they did so without one ounce of pressure. We did find what we were looking for in rings but not in the diamond just yet, but we have time so that is ok, there was never any pressure to find a diamond right then. Basically what I would like to say that both Victoria and Chris made what can be a very stressful and certainly a significant event in any couples relationship a very enjoyable and relaxing time without pressure. We highly recommend Robbins Brothers over any other jeweler!

I came into Robbins Brothers needing my diamond tightened in the setting my fiance bought from a broker in NY. The staff was willing to help me, but the manager kindly expressed some concerns about our ring after the jeweler had inspected it. It turns out that the setting was too small for my diamond and the prongs had been bent and forced to fit around it. We came to realize that I would most likely need a new setting if I wanted to keep my diamond safe. Lori Harris, the manager we spoke with, was extremely helpful and patient as we made the decision to purchase a new setting. She took the time to personally show us every setting we liked and was honest and understanding throughout the entire process. I finally chose a setting and had our diamond mounted the next day. I don't know what I would have done without her patience and guidance throughout our experience. The other two salesmen we worked with, Paul Heaven and Mark, were also a pleasure to do business with. After a rigorous shopping process, I feel totally confident saying that I am satisfied with the results. I will sleep soundly every night knowing the origin of my diamond, and that was a non-negotiable. I am not sure that another jewelry store could have done that for me. We bought a beautiful ring that was exactly what I wanted and well within our budget, from the Mission Viejo store in late 2006. The following year we relocated to Denver Colorado where there is no Robbins Bros! Every 6 months I send my ring from Colorado to the Mission Viejo store for cleaning and inspection to preserve it so it always looks the way it did the day we bought it. My friends all think it's crazy to send it back to California when I could have it cleaned locally and I always tell them that I wouldn't trust anyone else with it but Robbins Bros. I just sent it overnight express this past Monday for it's cleaning and right after the store received it, Nicole at the M.V. store called me to tell me they received it. She assured me that they were going to make sure it got cleaned and inspected and turned around the same day if possible so I would not have to go for too long without it. I can't tell you what that kind of service and caring means to me for something that can be such an anxious experience. I really appreciate her always keeping me in the loop and really taking the time to go the extra step. I always tell my friends what great service and care we receive from Robbins Bros. Dear Steve, I would like to take a moment and relay my sentiments on a recent experience I had with your company. As you can imagine this is a very important decision and I did not want to mess it up! Well I had done just that prior to visiting your store. I purchased a Robbins Bros engagement ring used from a friend and proposed to my girlfriend. I was ecstatic when she said yes and she liked the ring. But she didn't love it and I offered to her that the paperwork said we could trade it in for something a little more special. This is when I found out I knew absolutely nothing about Diamonds and the ring I had purchased was quite a bit less quality than I wanted my future bride to be to have. As you can imagine I was very embarrassed for buying a ring that not only was used, but was embarrassing for her to wear. I felt very nervous as I spent all of the money I had on the ring and if she wanted to upgrade I was very scared on how this visit was going to happen. I can honestly say I was relieved within 3 minutes of walking in the door. We were introduced to Drew Fort who spent the entire afternoon showing her the most special rings, and he never made me as if I wasn't his best customer. He even made the situation light-hearted and spent many hours telling her that this is a very common way to get a ring for her. Which I doubt is actually true, but it sure made me feel less embarrassed for messing this up in the first place. Again Drew took such wonderful care of us when my fiance chose a ring 3 times more expensive. I knew I couldn't pay for it, but I sure didn't want to tell her that nor even tell Drew. Drew was so tactful and courteous that he came to me on the side when my fiance was not around and asked if he could help me cover the cost with a special payment plan your store offered. It fit perfect into my financial plan and this situation which could have easily been the worst of my life and she would have been reminded of my lack of effort for many many years.... Was turned around and became the most wonderful experience and long lasting positive memory that we really wanted for our engagement. Robbins Bros wasn't my first choice for purchase but after talking with your people and just being in there it was amazing. It was so amazing I came back and recently purchased the wedding band. This time I worked with Lauren Burnett and as great and wonderful. I thought Reesa was Lauren went a step further. On short notice we needed the wedding band sized and it was late afternoon the day before the ceremony. Terrible planning, I know. However, she offered to personally deliver the wedding band after the store had closed to make sure we had it for the next day. There are all kinds of professionals in this world in there are people who really care about what they do and without thought go above and beyond what is expected. I believe Robbins Bros. is one of those places filled with those kinds of people. I never felt like I was buying a ring I felt like a friend of mine was recommending what to do in my situation. I don't care if I paid more than I would have somewhere else customer satisfaction was far beyond I ever thought possible. I don't want to say that Brad Yarbrough was my "salesman" because it seems so inappropriate. I don't feel that he sold me anything. I was educated and assisted. I learned so much from the experience of buying a diamond through Brad that I never expected.
I went in dead set on what I "knew" I wanted. I knew the size and the specifications that would make a great diamond ring. I researched it on my own of course. Brad showed me some beautiful stones my first day with him. Being a wise shopper I held off and went to another store to compare. Well, that was a waste of time and a very disappointing experience. At your competition I felt like I was shopping at Wal-Mart but that is another story. Brad contacted me and said he was shipping in a diamond that was the exact specs I wanted so I could look at it. How great is that! I hadn't spent a dime with him and he is searching the country for my diamond. Well, when I went in he showed me two diamonds. IMMEDIATELY I saw that one was much nicer looking than the other. That is where my education really took off. The specs I wanted didn't necessarily equal the best looking diamond. Brad wanted me to have the diamond that would look best on my fiance?s finger. He presented the options and let me choose. Then he explained why I actually choose the less expensive diamond.

I have you tell you, when I first got it in my head that I was going to buy an engagement ring, I had no idea where to look. I visited a number of stores, not exactly sure where I'd end up buying. Most stores were like car dealerships, pressuring me to buy now because the ring might not be there when I got back later, yadda yadda yadda. Robbins Bros was WAY different. When I first told the salesman that I had no idea what I was doing and was just looking for information, and that I was definitely not ready to buy something, he still sat me down, gave me the 4 C's presentation, and took his time to answer all of my questions, I was probably there for a good hour or so. He knew full well that I was not buying anything that day, but still took the time to help me. How was he even to know I would buy there?? To me, my decision was made. I was buying from Robbins Bros for sure.
I returned with my girlfriend to look at some center stones, and when we told the salesman our price range, he brought out only center stones that were in our range WITH THE BAND, not just the stone being in our price range. He showed us out-the-door center stones, where we'd stay in budget out the door with everything. THAT impressed me big time. Other stores I had been to brought out center stones over my stated price, trying to up sell me. Robbins Bros did not do this and it was a huge weight off my shoulders.
If I had to recommend to anyone where to buy a ring (or rings) I'd recommend Robbins Bros. I had a fantastic experience, and I think Robbins Bros sets the standard by which other jewelry (not just engagement ring) stores should go by. It's what everybody could hope for when making this kind of decision. Thanks to Robbins Bros for everything. :)

I just wanted to say what a great experience I've had with Robbins Bros. My fiance and I purchased my engagement ring at the Fullerton store. The attention you get from your sales person is superb, not to mention there is absolutely no pressure put on you to buy now. They take the time out to teach you diamond quality etc...and don't expect you or push you to buy the biggest and most expensive things. I recently moved to a state where there are not any Robbins Bros. stores, so when I ordered my wedding band I had to call the 800 number. Once again it was a great experience. The gentleman I spoke with was very knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable. Once again he didn't rush me or push me to purchase what I didn't want. I also had the Robbins Bros. lab work on a non-RB ring of mine I had resized at other stores. Once the lab finished their work I never had anymore problems with my band splitting. Though there are not any RB stores within 500 miles, I will continue to ship my rings to have RB clean and maintain them. They've made what could have been a very stressful situation a very pleasant and enjoyable one!

The intent of my visit was to give my fiance a quick browse of stones knowing that I had already purchased a stone from a local competitor and was awaiting its completion. I have always over analyzed large purchases (in this case 2 ct) and at the time thought I had done so and considered myself above average in my knowledge of diamonds. However after some discussions with Jae it became obvious that I had not fully considered all aspects of a diamond purchase. With my new diamond education I now had an expensive dilemma on my hands...proceed with my original purchase and not look back or stop everything until I could assess my new diamond knowledge and how it pertained to my requirements. I came to the Canoga Park facility ready and willing to pick out the perfect engagement ring for my girlfriend, but not knowing 1 C from the 4 Cs in diamonds. I was initially helped by Dora who took the time to explain and educate me before coming up with an initial purchase. Eventually, my brother-in-law took me to see his own private jeweler who gave me different/lower prices (but not necessarily better quality). I was almost ready to take advantage of my 30-day return policy. Rather than just blow me off, Dora made an appointment with me to discuss and see if the RB staff can come up w/ a better value proposition. When things were a little hectic, rather than have me wait, Dora had another great representative, Lynette, help me instead of just leaving me be. Both Lynette and Dora stayed 1 hour after close just to get me the best value proposition and allay any doubts that Robbins Bros. is the BEST place to get an engagement ring. My girlfriend well, soon to be fiance have been together for a little over 2 years, and we came to Robbins Bros. in Dallas to look at engagement rings. Amongst the vast selection available, she found a ring that she absolutely fell in love with. The salesman Sam showed us which feels like every ring here, giving us our options, but she wanted that one. I had to put it on lay-away for a few months. She finally decided after 3 months to get cubic zirconium to get her ring quicker and get diamonds at another time. I made an hour and a half drive from Fort Worth to get it changed. Vivian, who is a diamond consultant, helped me out tremendously. She got the stone changed, and actually was able to manage me being able to take the ring home with me to propose the same day. The customer service at the Dallas store was 110%, grade A service, and I am very pleased and will refer my friends and co workers to this Robbins Bros. store.

He is by far the best person I have ever worked with at any store. He was great on following up with me to make sure that I was happy & 1000% satisfied. Their jeweler Duke rebuilt my Jeff Cooper setting to fit my new larger diamond & did an exceptional job. His work is beautiful & I give him 100% trust with all of my jewelry. He even came out to ask me how high I wanted my prongs to be & took his time to make sure it was done right. I walked out of there with so much more knowledge & I was so happy with the service that we returned today (2 weeks later) & bought diamond studs. Last night I went by the Montclair store to have our 6 month check up and cleaning on our rings. I got there a bit after 8, not realizing they were closed. One of the employees was leaving, asked what I needed and said they could do that for me even though it was after hours. I told him I greatly appreciated it, and that we live in Wrightwood, an hour away, so it was great he was saving me time from having to come down again just for that errand. I was not rushed once inside and still treated as if it was normal business hours, asked if I wanted a soda, etc. I thought that was so nice- especially that I was offered to have my problem solved prior to them finding out that I lived far away- so basically, they were just being nice instead of feeling bad for me! You can't beat the warranties. Their engagement couple web site is classy. And, we have already started using our lifetime concierge services. Robbins Bros called the restaurant for me after I had already made reservations to ensure the evening would be memorable. I think their reputation influenced the restaurant to make things so memorable for us.

I wanted to let you know that we visited your Schaumburg location on Sept 13th to LOOK at engagement rings. Our intent was to look at another store and see rings that we both liked. Not only do you have a wonderful store setup, but your employees are also VERY nice and helpful. Because we were only planning on looking we brought our new 3wk old puppy with us and left him in the car with it running. Once we found a couple rings we liked the staff took us to the private room to look at the rings under a scope and talk budget. My soon to be fiance was not very happy that our dog was sitting in the car alone, so I made a joke about can we bring our dog in. Your staff member Ali Cheaib said absolutely. We were shocked and looked at some other people on your staff and said "REALLY?" they said sure. We ended up staying at your store for 4hrs working with Ali, thankfully they did let us bring the dog in because he wouldn't have made it. Your staff was not only GREAT to us but to our dog as well. It is my belief that the reason we ended up purchasing a ring that day from your store was due to staff, and of course your commitment to stand behind your product! So this year for Christmas, my husband said I could upgrade my ring. Tina Guevara was the sales rep. that helped us. She made the experience so enjoyable. I walked in the store with excitement in my eyes and I felt that she shared that excitement too! I tried on several rings and she gave me her most honest opinion. The outstanding service was provided by the Sales Manager of the Montclair store by the name of Miguel "Angel" Maldonado. Angel stepped in and helped my girlfriend and I after we'd purchased both our wedding bands as well as the engagement ring and diamond. We were told by a representative we'd be able to have the stone colored by the process of irradiation by a third-party vendor. We later determined there was no way to guarentee the shade of blue we wished the diamond to become, but he insisted we keep trying and made several phone calls to explore our options. After several in-store meetings we soon realized he was both friendly and professional, a true asset to your company.
We must have mentioned something earlier that week, but both of us were suprised when the sales manager paid an unexpected visit to the Japanese resturant where we gathered with friends for my fiance's birthday dinner. Dressed in suit-and-tie he presented us with a gift certificate and expensive bottle of sake for the entire party to enjoy. Traveling a great distance to share a warm and appreciated "happy birthday." It's this level of quality customer service that makes Robbins Bros. and each of their employees truely unique.
Words really can't explain how appreciated we both felt as customers, we made a very important decision to invest as much as we did in your fine jewelery - as wedding rings last a life time. What we didn't know is that we'd be equally as pleased with a frequently unsurpassed in-store experience.

First off I want to Thank You for opening 3 locations in the Chicago area! I lived in Los Angeles for 3 years and bought an engagement ring at the Topanga Canyon location and returned again to purchase our wedding bands. The experiences there were amazing and so that's why my wife and I were excited to see the locations in Chicago where we now live.
We recently celebrated our 2nd anniversary and I wanted to surprise my wife with a second band to go along with her wedding band. It was a last minute idea and time was not on my side. I located our receipt from our wedding bands and called the Schaumburg location to see if they could help me to locate a matching band. Answering the phone was a nice and cheerful representative named Melinda. She listened to my last minute idea and quickly started searching with the help of a manger named Ricardo. All it took was a couple of back and forth phone calls and a fax and my purchase was complete. And to make my experience even better they had the ring sized and shipped out overnight since I was unable to make it out to their location.

When I decided that it was the time to pop the question, I went to four different places looking for the perfect ring...Robbins Bros. was the best place by far because of their customer service, selection, and quality. The service here is continuous even after the engagement.

Recently my daughter-in-law began educating me on the purchasing of quality diamond jewelry. She had given me some basic criteria for choosing a jeweler. I still felt a little intimidated due to our budget constraints, I felt the quality of the jeweler she was referring to probably weren't meant for our price range. After visiting some local Mall jewelers, I was motivated to at least visit some stores that fit into the criteria. I came into Robbins Bros., about 1/2 hour before closing, a young gentleman welcomed me by opening the door. I was introduced to Frieda and she began addressing my issues of quality on a budget. I felt understood and relieved. She brought in Brian Goldstein to further help in my search. It was already closing time, but he seemed enthusiastic and genuinely compassionate about my desire to find "the ring". We looked at several, along the way he answered my battery of question on the four C's. Brian also presented other issues I hadn't considered as our intention was to buy the setting in preparation for "the diamond" to come. I feel he steered me thru some potentially costly mistakes. I felt Brian and I had possibly found what I was looking for, but wanted to bring back my husband. Brian was able to connect with my husband, and engage him in talking about diamonds. Shopping is not my husbands favorite. Brian has been earning our trust and respect thru each step of our selection, and purchase. We are impressed with Robbins Bros. before and after the sale. We feel Brian went above and beyond, and Robbins Bros., gave us the quality we desired. Thank you so much.

I have searched almost every major engagement ring store out there from Tiffany to Ethan Allen etc. All had nice rings, but either their rings were over priced or their customer service was less than I would except. I decided to check out Robbins Bros in Mission Viejo. Though I was skeptical because of there slightly odd radio commercials I decided to give Robbins Bros a try.
I was immediately impressed with the sales staff. Not one person tried to pressure me into buying a ring. I was helped by Olivia Tagle almost the entire time and I think I came into the store on three separate occasions to "just look." Olivia gave me the same attention and customer service when I was "just looking" as I got the day I came into actually buy the ring. I told Olivia exactly what I was looking for which was a 1ct princess cut with E color and it had to be a certain company that cut the diamond. Olivia told me she would have three diamonds for me to look at within two weeks. Needless to say she kept her word. When I bought the ring everything was done correctly. It was the most simple process; much easier than I had expected which was great.
To me one of the major deciding factors that determine where I conduct my business is first and foremost CUSTOMER SERVICE. If its not excellent then I will not come back. The second is quality of the product being sold. Olivia and Robbins Bros in my opinion deserve a A+ in customer service. As far as the ring goes.... I think its simply beautiful.

First of all, let me say that all the hype about your company is justified. From the second I stepped in the store I was greeted with the most warm and sincere welcome. I received grade A service. The people there treated me as if I was million dollar customer, and for a second I really felt like I was (though I wasn't). After I made my purchase I didn't expect anything else, I was happy enough with the service I had received. Though Andrea Watson, a dedicated Robbins Bros. staff member, had other plans. I wanted to say that Geanene Gordon was spectacular in helping me pick out a ring for my girlfriend/fiancee. I live in Northern California and was on vacation and was able to find the ring I wanted at an awesome price. I was able to purchase the ring over the phone (using the credit card agreement form) and was going to have someone in Southern CA pick it up for me. Now we came up with our wedding date and had moved it up to be in March instead of June like planned. My fiance purchased my engagement ring there so it only made sense to purchase our wedding bands there as well. One of my closest of friends had recommended RB to me when I was first shopping for an engagement ring almost 9 years ago. He had told me that he had never experienced the kind of customer service, product quality, and cleanliness in a jewelry store before -- and he was right! I was "wowed" to say the Well, that was almost 9 years ago, and I am proud to say that EVERY piece of jewelry I have purchased for my wife has come from RB!! Her engagement ring, wedding band, wedding day jewelry (as my wedding gift to her), 1st anniversary ring, multiple necklaces, earrings, pearl sets, all leading up to this year's purchase of a right-hand ring AND a new wedding band. I would estimate I've spent approximately $20,000 with RB, and I continue to return for all the same reasons my friend had originally recommended to me. I wanted to comment that EVERY visit to the Fullerton location has led to an experience BEYOND my expectations, not to mention a very happy wife with the beautiful jewelry she's selected. Our recent visit, the first week of January, was no exception -- Cammy was so attentive to us, as this would be our first purchase of a diamond that exceeded 1 carat, set into a beautiful Enchante ring design. Not only did she spend various lengthy times with us, in person and on the phone, however, after our purchase, we arrived home, and my wife wasn't completely satisfied with the quality of diamond (its flaws seen by the eye) as she originally thought she was, and Cammy (I kid you not!!) told her on the phone to come right back to the store that same night so she could look for a new diamond. On this visit, and a previous one, Cammy stayed AFTER closing time to make sure we were satisfied with our experience, and NEVER made us feel rushed or an inconvenience to her or the staff. She loves people, and this shows through time and time again. Because of her, my wife is still talking about HOW MUCH SHE LOVES HER RING, which Cammy was quite instrumental in bringing to fruition! As though this were not enough, I needed Cammy's assistance with special payment arrangements, so my rewards credit card awarded me miles for the purchase, even though it would have to be done in two parts (as it exceeded my available credit line), and Cammy (and Lisa) were pleased to assist me with this while I was in another state on business. I can't say enough good things about this experience, which is truly only characteristic of EVERY visit we've had there since our first. We look forward to doing future business with RB, and just wanted to make sure that others knew what kind of a great job and representation of Skip and Steve Cammy and her staff are in Fullerton, California! I have nothing but great things to say about your Willowbrook location. Wow! What a great team you have working there. I first visited your location in November after shopping at some other "name" stores in the area, and the impression made by the team there was fantastic. We were greeted courteously with a smile (not the fake..."hey I want to sell you something" smile) and so were our twin 6-year old girls. We were welcomed in as a family. The girls had a place to watch TV and be "catered" to as my fiance and I had a chance to shop for her engagement ring. It was a gentleman named Chris (who unfortunately isn't there anymore) who took the time to educate us on the rings,diamonds, etc. We ended up spending around $2800 and I didn't once flinch at spending that kind of money because your store earned my trust and confidence. A week later my fiance noticed a flaw in the diamond that bothered her everytime she looked at it. We took the ring back and it was exchanged without any hassle. She was happy and so was I. We then came back and bought our wedding rings and met with a young lady named Melane Lozano. She got us our rings and listened to our engagement story and had a smile on her face the entire time. She was interested in us! This point was better proven by the fact when we returned from our wedding, there was a card from her congratulating us. She included the phrase "I'm glad I got to be a small portion of your journey..." That was wonderful and meant a lot to both of us that she took the time to listen, remember, and write us a congratulations. Thank you Melane! Then a small mishap on my part(I lost my wedding ring three weeks after the event). We came back to that location and again everyone recognized us and our girls. Even our girls recognized the people there and met them with the same smile and hugs. We repurchased the same ring (which was last night) and again, the same service that won me over the first time was there again. I cannot remember everyone's name that we know by face there and that is unfortunate because I would like you to call them all by name and tell them that they have done as a team cannot be measured in words. They have turned an otherwise dreadful jewlry shopping experience for me, into a wonderful event that I look forward to doing with my wife. I want them all to know that they treated me and my wife as people and not as a dollar sign. My Fiance Jessica and I went to just about every jewelry store we found in the mall, and we did find some good rings. However the level of service was not what I had expected. We heard how great Robbins Bros. was from my best friend who bought his ring and his wife's ring there too! We ended up going to your Fullerton store and from the moment we stepped in, the magic would not stop for us. We were immediately greeted and we were introduced to our sales person, I have never had such good service from ANY of the other stores we visited.
But the service didn?t stop once we had bought our ring back in June of 2006, I took the ring back in early November to get it cleaned, and we were so amazed that the exact same level or service was given to us the second time around. I had bought a necklace at another store, and when I took the piece back for cleaning, they just dipped it in cleaning solution and gave it back. Needless to say I was not impressed!! When I took the ring back to the Fullerton store to get it cleaned, I was expecting the same service level, and once again I was just blown away by the service level I received from everyone at the store. When I the ring back I could have sworn it was brand new again, I was so shocked that I told the story of the necklace I had cleaned in the other store, and I was simply amazed when Darel Johnson simply took it from me and had it cleaned too, it was as if I had just bought it when I got it back!!! Never in my life would I have expected such caring and personal connection from ANY store. Needless to say I was so impressed, I submitted my resume in to see if I could be the one making peoples dreams come true! I would recommend Robbins Bros. to ANYONE! But don't take my word for it, see for yourselves!

I love the fact that they size your ring right there in plain view and you don't have to wait several weeks! My situation was interesting since my fiancee was in a different country and we had a hard time figuring out his sizing because where he lives the numbers are different. Anyways our love story started over 23 years ago when we were teenagers. We liked each other very much but we were so shy neither one of us said anything to each other plus being from a hispanic family we grew up "thinking" we were cousins. Then 23 years later I returned to Bolivia (which is where he and all my family is from) I went on this trip with my parents as a break from life and ran into him. I want to send you a photo of the rings because I had the photographer take a picture exclusively to share with your company because the rings have received nothing but compliments. EVERYWHERE I go I am told that my rings are beautiful and elegant and he is complimented on his simple style as well. We love the rings. I wanted to put in big thank you to Matt Forsythe. My wife Carla and I arrived at the Fullerton store at 7:04 PM and the store had closed and customers were being let out individually. We started to walk away and Matt asked if we needed our rings cleaned. We had our blue ring books in hand that probably gave that away. Make a long story short he took our rings back in after signing our books and cleaned our rings! Thank you again for the extra effort Matt. Then a wonderful gallery owner (Hooks Epstein Gallery) allowed me to place the painting in the gallery since my fiance loves art. Needless to say she said yes and still tears up when she talks about the ring and the proposal. I've been married for 3 years, but my husband bought the ring at Robbins Bros., and so I went to the Glendale store with my two kids in tow to see if I could get it fixed. I never write these things but I just have to! I'll start off by stating that my fiance and I went into your store, as my fiance wanted me to pick out the ring before he proposed. I was horrified about picking such a beautiful piece of jewelry and forever worrying about losing it. However, once I met Vic (the salesman) it was bliss from then on. He was so helpful and knowledgeable; he almost made it easy. However, when my fiance went to pick the ring up, he thought it looked discolored (he is a little anal). I would have been fine with it, but he took it back. Your sales staff was absolutely AMAZING!! Vic came in on his day off just to make sure another diamond was found that was satisfactory to my fiance. He was going to propose to me the very next day so he needed the ring ASAP. Your store had someone physically go pick it up and bring it to the Conaga Park store. My fiance loved it! I personally can't believe that your sales people went to such great lengths to satisfy my fiance. It is SO rare these days to have that kind of service and that is why I am writing this. I am planning on going back to get my wedding set and I don't even live in CA anymore. However, I have shared this experience with everyone I know and I have already had two of my closest friends buy rings from you with the same great salesmanship as my fiance and I experienced. I had been looking at engagement rings and I heard your ad on a radio station, so I put the purchase off till I could get into your store. I couldn't wait until your Baybrook store opened. Due to the hurricanes (Katrina & Rita), I didn't have much of a choice. Once your store opened I made a trip out to the store. Bobby Shah was the person who helped me go through the process of picking out the ring and then the stone. Bobby took me through all of the informative steps on the 4 C's. Once we had gone through them, he sort of quizzed me. He pulled out some stones in the range that I was looking for and asked me what I thought they might be on the 4 C's chart. I didn't do too bad; must have had a good teacher. Picking out the ring was the easy part. I had been playing on your website for a couple of months, and already had one in mind. The hard part was picking the perfect stone, a princess cut, for my princess. I looked at several stones and hadn't seen anything that really caught my eye. Bobby pulled out a couple more stones, and there it was, "THE ONE". It was a little more than what I wanted to spend, but it is a symbol of how much I love her. So, needless to say, I got engaged the next day (11/12/05). It was such a wonderful day. Bobby Shah was so very helpful and informative. He let me make my own decisions and only gave me options or suggestions on what I could do. At no time did I ever feel pressured to buy anything, and that's what I really loved about my visit to Robbins Bros. Thank you Bobby Shah and the entire Robbins Bros. team.

Me and my boyfriend were looking around for an engagement ring on 6/16/05. We had gone to the Galleria and walked around in a couple of jewlery stores. Everytime we would go into a store the salesperson would try to get us to buy the most expensive ring. He was ready to go home but I wanted to go to Robbins Bros. So he said ok and we headed over there. I told him ok I am going to walk in there and tell them what our budget is because we are in the process of buying a house. Sedary Hu was the salesperson that helped us. I let her know what we were looking for and in what price range and she automatically showed us rings in our price range. No questions asked. She was a very, very professional and friendly sales person. I was in shock. We were just looking around at prices and trying to see what we both liked and we fell in love with a pear shaped 1/2 diamoned ring. Something decent and affordable. My fiance just looked at me when I had it on my finger and told Sedary he would buy it. She had tears in her eyes more than I did. She told us that we made her day. I think she was more in shock that I didn't want a 1 or 5 ct ring. I prefer a house I told her and she was so genuine about everything. I am definantly going back to buy our wedding bands. My husband and I have been married for almost two years now and after awhile I noticed the prongs in my ring were badly bent. After debating where to get it fixed we decided on the Montclair Plaza thinking it would be cheaper. We visited Samuel Jewelers and thank God the jeweler wasn't there. They wanted to charge $70 to have it repaired. We wanted to have it fixed the same day so we thought about your store. My husband and I were greeted kindly and were told a customer service rep. would be with us shortly. We looked around the store and a kind young man asked us if we wanted something to drink. After telling him we would like to have a quote on how much it would cost to fix the ring, he said it would just be a moment. A few minutes went by and he came back out with my ring fixed, shiny and ready to go. I was in shock and asked him how much it would cost and he kindly said, "Don't worry about it". He then told me the prongs on my ring were not in bad shape and we were very ecstatic. We didn't expect that kind of customer service and we were very grateful. You definitely earned a customer for life.

I just wanted to let you know what great experiences I've had at Robbins Bros. over the past year. My fiance purchased my engagement ring in January 2003 at the Montclair location. The people who helped us were so professional, they were able to completely distract me while my fiance purchased the ring. I had absolutely no idea what was going on and when he proposed a few weeks later on Valentine's Day, I was completely surprised. I visited the Fullerton store last November to pick out my wedding band, and I ended up changing my engagement ring setting as well to a matching set. My salesperson, Prentice, was so helpful and spent a lot of time with me helping me find the style I wanted, in my price range. We were able to special order the ring to fit me (I have very small fingers) and it came in very quickly. My best experience at Robbins Bros. happened just a few days ago. Unfortunately the ring that I had special ordered irritated my overly sensitive fingers because of the style of the prongs. The ring would have been fine for a person with larger fingers. Although I loved the ring, I realized that it wouldn't be right for me to wear for the rest of my life, and so I decided to do an exchange. I went back to the Fullerton store just a few days ago, and was helped by a man named Ron Jackson. He was the best. He completely understood that I was upset because I had to part with the ring that I loved, and he spent an hour and a half with me selecting a ring that I loved even more! They were able to size it for me by the next day so I didn't have to go "ringless" for very long at all. I am so happy with my new engagement ring and wedding band. I couldn't be happier. I also wanted to thank all the other people in the store that helped me, from the greeters to the people in the office. They are always so nice and are very professional. I came into your store on Friday, October 17th to have my wedding ring cut off my finger...as I had an accident with a file cabinet in my office which left me with my ring smashed against my finger. A couple of years after getting our engagement ring from you, I wanted to buy my wife a gift in celebration of the birth of our first child! She likes the symbolism of birthstones, but the baby was due in early September, which meant that there was a pretty good likelihood she'd be born in August. So the folks at your Torrance location helped me set up a deal whereby I would order both a peridot and a sapphire, as well as a pendant mount and chain, and let me call to tell them to mount one stone and return the other. Daniel the manager at the Canoga Park store should be commended for helping me out in a tough situation. I purchased a ring for my fiancee and according to the grading report there should have been no visible inclusions. When I picked up the ring I was so excited I never checked closely. Then I gave her the ring she said yes and a couple days later we noticed a tiny "spot". I brought it in and showed Daniel and he had it cleaned and confirmed it was an inclusion. He was very apologetic and he immediately started searching the company data base to find me another stone. After an exhaustive search and what I'm sure was a number of phone calls he showed me 5 or 6 certifications on other stones from other locations that he was willing to have brought in for me to see and he showed me the one that he had on site. We looked at it together carefully and I told him I'd talk to my fiance and let him know what we wanted to do. The other hitch is we are leaving town to go see her family tomorrow morning. I called Daniel this morning and told him we would like the stone he had in the store. He will have it ready for me as I leave work (same day) along with fixing the size of the ring itself. You have no idea how important this was to me and how appreciative I am for Daniel's efforts. You have made a great decision hiring him at that store he's the kind of person you reccomend friends and family members to go see when it is their time to purchase an engagement ring. I was putting very serious thought into purchasing an engagement ring and was very curious about your store. I had heard your commercials on the radio and found them very funny. I was on my way to the dentist when I passed your store. I mentioned to my girlfriend that I would like to stop in after the dentist and take a look around. After the dentist appointment (two hours of "Dental Fun") I didn't know how up to going to the store I was. I figured we'd stop in for a few miutes and that would be it. As soon as we enetered the store I knew this was someplace special. The atmosphere was very different from other jewelery stores I had been in. I was completely blown away with how nice the staff was. Not only was it a joy, but very informative as well. You truly go to great lengths to make sure the customer understands about the diamond before purchasing. We found the perfect setting and the perfect diamond. This could not have been done without all the help from your staff. I have never left a store with that much good feeling, and smiles!!! I will definatley be purchasing the wedding band there. I've been meaning to send off a note of gratitude for over a year now. Here's my story: My husband proposed to me with my Grandmother's antique engagement ring that I inherited when she passed on. He said he could never find a ring that would mean more to me. It was very special. The problem was it has scalloped edges and we couldn't find a wedding band that would fit to it well. I finally suggested we check out Robbins Bros. The sales person showed us many bands but again they just wouldn't fit this shape. They offered to have their master jeweler come out and take a look. Why not? Right before our eyes he drew up a design that was absolutely perfect and provided us options that would fit our budget. My husband was ecstatic and insisted we do it though I thought it would be too expensive. Turns out it was very affordable, it was created in a timely manner and was a perfect fit the first time! It was a wonderful experience and I've recommended Robbins Bros. to everyone who is in the market ever since. We just had the best experience with a Robbins Bros. associate, Allison, this past weekend. I was in the store Friday having my rings cleaned when I decided to look at a new wedding band for my husband. His past 2 were platinum, but he lost the first one, and thought the second one was uncomfortable. I was looking at simple white gold, comfort fit bands, which are so inexpensive in comparison to the rings and diamonds that associates would normally sell. The commercials were so cute, and the brothers seemed to genuienly care about satisfying their customers on a much more personal level.
